Volderconsulting was established in 2020 and are driven by Thomas Volder who have + 20 Years experience in Leading positions within business development, leadership, sales & board work . Working for some of the pioneers within their Industry as Schneider Electric - General Electric & Coromatic by e-on with responsibility of Denmark, Nordic, Baltic & Europe.

I have a strong educational background as Electrical - Mechanical Engineer -  EBA (Engineering Business Administration) & - Certified Electrician 

I`m passioned about the sustainability agenda and are involved in several activities supporting technological development with the aim of innovation and reduction of emissions. I see a future where we need to focus much more on sector coupling and circular economy to meet our common goals on CO2 reduction.

 I enjoy to speak at fairs and conventions and have had a big number of appearances as a speaker, panelist or moderator in events about Energy, Datacenters.

Project Leader or Design Engineer

I am an experienced design engineer and project leader with a strong background in developing innovative technical solutions across energy, infrastructure, and mission-critical facilities.

Over the years, I have combined creative problem-solving with practical engineering expertise to ensure that even the most complex projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

My focus is on efficiency, sustainability, and user-oriented design, where technical precision supports long-term reliability and operational excellence.

My proven track record includes leadership of large-scale and high-impact projects such as the OUH DRUPS emergency power system, one of Denmark’s most advanced critical infrastructure installations. This project demonstrates my ability to translate complex requirements into robust engineering solutions while balancing innovation with risk management.

In addition to technical design, I excel in project leadership, guiding multidisciplinary teams with clear communication, coordination, and stakeholder engagement.

I take pride in building trust with clients and partners, drawing on multiple successful references that highlight my ability to consistently turn ambitious concepts into working solutions.

With passion for innovation and a proven ability to deliver, I continue to drive projects from initial vision through to successful implementation.

I have a wide understanding of business development and can be your support in the development of your business opportunities. It can be to grow your business local or in export markets, To support international business into the Nordics or working with you from scratch building your business plan.

It all starts with a strong professional board setting expectations & direction of the company. Never underestimate the need of strong board members with different mindset and backgrounds. I have a long experience in various board positions and offer to consult in board work or to take fixed board seats.

Having a background working all over Europe - I offer the experience and cultural business understanding to take on opportunities to support international business. 

Lobbying and Influencing 

As chairman of the Board in the business association - I have been actively involved in work to put focus on the opportunities within our industry. This is to public share insights and information of how we can contribute to develop a growth business and still have strong focus on use and re-use of energy.
